Viewing Your Submitted Requests
If you’ve submitted requests from a distribution list, such as commissions@yourcompany.com or finance@yourcompany.com, you may not be able to see those requests when you are logged in with your own account (e.g., firstname.lastname@yourcompany.com).
This is because each request is associated with a specific user, and in this case, commissions@yourcompany.com is considered as the owner of that request.
New requests submitted from AppDirect Support will be submitted from your email address, and will therefore appear under My Requests without any further action. If you still require your distribution list included in your support requests, please see How can I ensure that my team is included in any updates on my requests?
To be able to see requests submitted from a distribution list, you will need to be added as a CC on the request. There are two ways to do this.
Method 1: The Requester can add a CC
- From your email, open the email request or any reply in that thread.
- If you are able to send emails from the distribution email (i.e. the distribution email must appear in the “from” field as the sender), then select the distribution list as the sender. Here is an example using Gmail:

- Add your email address (e.g.: firstname.lastname@yourcompany.com) in the CC field.
- DO NOT modify the subject.
- Send your email. The content doesn’t matter, you can type something like “Looping in Suzie”.
Once the email is received and the request is updated, you will be able to follow the progress of this request.
- Log into the AppDirect Marketplace.
- Click on the My Workspace icon next to the AppDirect logo. Then click on Support, if it appears in your recent apps list, or click Go to My Apps.
- Click on the Support tile.
- Click on My Requests.
- Click on Requests I’m CC’d on.
- You’ll be able to see any requests you were CC’d on here.

Note: This method can be used to allow any colleagues that might need to access your requests. Simply add them in CC as well.
Method 2: Request to add a CC
If you cannot send from your distribution email address, but you can reply to messages sent to that email address, you can ask to have your email address added in CC.
- From your email, open the request notification that was received at your distribution email (e.g.: commissions@yourcompany.com)
- Click Reply-to-all so that your message is sent to both your distribution email and our support center. Your own name and email address should appear in the From field.
- DO NOT modify the subject.
- In your message, please state that you would like to be added in CC so that you can monitor this request for the AppDirect Help center.
Note: To be able to validate that you are entitled to access a given support request, we must be able to see that you can reply to the original request. For your privacy and security, we cannot allow anyone access to a support request without any verification. - A member of the AppDirect Support team will reply, adding your email address in CC.
- Once you receive confirmation that this is complete, you should be able to view requests under Requests I’m CC’d on.
